Everything ordered. K1 Max running. CAD reviewed and parts categorized.
Dolly Teardown & Base Frame
Dolly disassembled, scanned, frame shortened. First welds. Base drives under RC control.
Chassis Plate & Torso Frame
Chassis adapter plate CNC'd. Torso frame laser cut and assembled. Waist rotation working.
Base Testing, Second Motor, Print Post-Processing
Dual-motor skid steering working. Base platform fully tested under load. Begin post-processing first batch of prints.
Head Assembly (19 Servos)
Complete head with all 19 servos, working eyes with iris, cameras + mic installed.
Arms (Both Working, 6DOF Each)
Two working arms mounted to torso. Each arm has 3-DOF shoulder/elbow/forearm + 3-DOF wrist/grip.
Electronics Integration & Wiring
All electronics installed, wired, powered. Pi 5 boots. All servos controllable from Pi.
Software, Assembly & First Life
J5 walks, talks, sees, and thinks. Tier 2 COMPLETE. First public appearance.
Rexnord Tracks + RaptorX Onboard Mount
Real Rexnord tracks installed. Movie-accurate silhouette. RaptorX quick-release dovetail mount built.
Arms + Battery + RaptorX Integration
Upgrade arms to welded steel structure with bus servos. Bigger battery. RaptorX onboard providing 3D spatial awareness.
Pneumatic Neck + Structure Reinforcement
Movie-accurate pneumatic neck installed. Structure reinforced at all stress points. Precision bearings throughout.
Weatherproofing, Final Paint & Full Calibration
Everything works — now make it bulletproof and beautiful. Full Tier 3 J5 complete.
